From a single branch the company quickly developed growing in size and reputation and is now one of the largest retailers in the country. Each outlet is named after the town it is located and each outlet employs local staff emphasizing our desire to offer a friendly local service with local knowledge and a quick turnaround on repairs and deliveries.

There are eight retail outlets in the area, a dedicated workshop and centralized warehousing the company is complemented with a hearing aid, stairlift and nursing home division.

The Retail Outlet’s/Mobility Centre’s are spread throughout the region all offering outside the door parking and easy access, the emphasis being on customer service. Each shop is fully stocked with a large range of the latest mobility and self help products with fully trained staff on hand to provide help and advice where required.

The Care Home Division has been specifically developed to provide products and services to the care home market with the emphasis on quality products rapid service and effective pricing. The Parkgate Group is backed by most major suppliers so quality and choice is always assured.

The Stairlift Division employs dedicated fitters who are fully conversant in all models of stairlift. We fit the latest slimline models but will repair any and we attempt to respond to all stairlift breakdowns the same day. We can often fit a stairlift the next day new or reconditioned and we also hire.

We have a Audiologist Department with fully equipped testing rooms at a large number of our outlets. We employ fully qualified hearing aid audiologists and have access to a qualified medical audiologist for clinical treatments. We offer the latest in digital hearing aids that are almost invisible to the eye.

Always working within and supporting the local community the Parkgate Group sponsor local charities and Shopmobility schemes, providing mobility scooters and wheelchairs to local hospitals and local country parks for free use by visitors. Currently working with Meadowhall to ensure Free Scooters and wheelchairs are available to shoppers.
