The Alerta Sensaflex 3000/4 Bariatric 120cm Wide Mattress provides high-risk pressure care support for bariatric users in medical and care environments. Its profiling design supports effective pressure redistribution while delivering comfort and stability where it matters most.
Built with practicality in mind, this mattress is straightforward to maintain. The multi-stretch, vapour-permeable PU cover helps reduce shear and friction, supporting skin integrity and patient comfort. The cover is water-resistant and machine washable, making routine cleaning simple and efficient. For infection control, launder the cover at a main wash temperature of 65°C for at least 10 minutes or 95°C for at least 3 minutes. It can be tumble dried on low heat, ensuring the temperature remains below 60°C.
For enhanced hygiene standards, the foam can be autoclaved at 134°C, supporting rigorous decontamination protocols in clinical settings.
The mattress also features antimicrobial properties with a white underside and is compliant with BS7177: Crib 5 standards, offering reassurance in environments where safety and infection control are critical.
